Floors are of tile and terrazzo, covered with rush rugs. The spacious accommodations come with queen or king size beds and generous storage. Some units open on to the beach, others are on a hillside.
Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Beach & villa resort
This all inclusive resort is located 2km southeast of town, set on 18 hectares of tropical gardens on a private estate dotted with red tile villas. A great house in the hills overlooks the Caribbean. Across from the imposing gate near the resort’s entrance are the white sands of a private beach. All but a handful of the accommodations are on one, two or three bedroom villas, each with a small pool, a shaded terrace, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 36 units that have traditional double rooms or single rooms on third floor. As far as accommodations are concerned these are roomy, decorated in Caribbean colours, and have high ceilings. They are well furnished with particularly fine beds.
